Trip Highlights and Inclusions

  • Admire exquisite scenery aboard our modern fully air conditioned 4WD coach
  • Visit the historic Beagle Bay church with famous pearl shell alter. It is a small indigenous community that was founded in 1890 by French Trappist monks, who had come to the ‘new’ land of Australia to work and convert Aboriginies to Christianity.
  • Swim at the pristine beaches of Kooljaman at Cape Leveque. Kooljaman at Cape Leveque is a unique wilderness camp which is surrounded by a diversity of natural wonders. The amazing wildlife, the vast array of marine life and the stunning coastline, makes this a truly unique experience.
  • Discover the rich pearling history through your included Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm tour. The story of Cygnet Bay Pearls is a rare and fascinating tale that began three generations ago with entrepreneur and founder, Dean Brown. It was 1946 and navigating the pristine Kimberley coastline in a wooden lugger, Dean discovered the secluded unspoilt beauty of Cygnet Bay.
  • Enjoy your included lunch in the manicured gardens of Cygnet Bay Pearls
  • One Arm Point is the Bardi Community with a population of about 65 people. Take a tour of the hatchery and see a working aquaculture centre with a range of local art and artefacts on sale. Purchase trochus shells and jewellery which has been locally carved out of this beautiful shell, which only the local Aboriginal people are allowed to collect.
  • Immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture with traditional elders at Gumbanan. The current elders Frank and Maureen are integral parts of the Dampier Peninsular community and have enjoyed sharing their love and passion for their homeland with tourists and locals alike.
